Randy Komisar - Silicon Valley Entrepreneur and Angel Investor

Randy has spent the past 10 years assisting young emerging-technology companies to set strategy and create business models, raise capital, establish strategic relationships, and mentor senior management. Randy helped launch WebTV and TiVo, among many other companies. He is the former CEO of LucasArts Entertainment and Crystal Dynamics, a cofounder of Claris Corporation, and former CFO of GO Corp. He authored the best-selling book, The Monk and the Riddle: The Education of a Silicon Valley Entrepreneur. Randy is a Consulting Professor at Stanford University, teaching in the Technology Ventures Program. Randy is also the subject of a Harvard Business School Case Study on innovations in building new businesses entitled “Randy Komisar, Virtual CEO”. Randy graduated from the Harvard Law School and practiced in the fields of Iitigation and technology law prior joining Claris. He holds a BA in Economics from Brown University.
