Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's S P Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) Inaugurated in 1981 by the then British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher is rated among the top ten B-schools in the country. The Institute’s core MBA program is recognized by industry for its distinctive combination of academic rigour with development of managerial traits.

S P Jain is known for developing a range of sustainable management education programs that are highly sought out by the targeted segments and their entrepreneurial approach to pedagogic innovations. Among these are the pioneering Family Managed Business and Executive MBA programs.

As a natural evolution of this process the institute is now partnering with Wadhwani Foundation and 4 other institutes to found the National Entrepreneurship Network to create sustainable entrepreneurship development programs.

"Entrepreneurship certainly means development of new technology but in the context of India it also means use of scarce resources and seeking out opportunities that result in sustainable benefit to the Indian economy and provide employment to youth".

"Entrepreneurship and networking define our being at SPJIMR. We see our relationship with NEN enhancing the operationalising of our activities along all dimensions through collaboration with member institutions".
- Dr. M.L. Srikanth
