Registered
in 1990 as a charitable trust, Mitra Jyothi provides integrated
development services to the disabled, especially the visually
disabled. Mitra Jyothi has designed a variety of training
and support programs to assist person s with disabilities,
enabling them to be independent and achieve their goals
with dignity.
At Mitra Jyothi the Wadhwani Foundation
is funding the launch of a professional job placement program,
to enhance the economic independence of the disabled by
asserting the right to gainful employment, and by establishing
a system to enable equal opportunities.
